Resident Support Services are designed to assist C.H.A residents in finding and accessing services that foster positive outcomes in the areas of budgeting, lease compliance, job skills training, child and youth development programs, health and wellness, community building, and understanding government forms.
What are Economic independence and housing self-sufficiency?
A family achieves economic independence and housing self-sufficiency when they earn enough to support themselves without relying on government assistance, such as welfare or a housing subsidy.

- Computer training and access for jobseekers

CHILD AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
- Summer programs, swim lessons, and camp scholarships

Property management is requesting that all residents prepare for the winter weather. Please clear and store away all trash, chairs, grills, and yard furniture.
January Events
- 1/17/24- CHA Resident Meeting at Lincoln Homes.
Come meet with Maintenance, Property Managers, Main Office Management and Resident Services. Bring your questions about your lease, housekeeping issues or family support. Learn about the ROSS and Our Chance programs. Bring your questions or just stop by for a snack and meet some of the CHA Team. We look forward to hosting you.

February Events
2/12/24- Valentines Day Couples Luncheon
Come eat a delicious lunch and hear from a guest speaker, Pastor Toni Jenkins. He will speak about communication with your partner and making your relationships last. There will also be a Valentines Photo Station and relationship handouts to take.
Registration ends February 5th and there are only 15 couple spots available. Sign up today:
2/15 & 2/22- The Salvation Army will hold a ‘Cooking on a Budget’ Class for all residents. The first two classes will be located at the REC inside Lincoln Homes. After completing the second class, all attendees will receive a free Insta-Pot. This class will focus on meals to feed a family that costs less than $20 for the ingredients. I’ll see you there.
2/22/24- Trio Educational Opportunity Center will be with us for two days to make your college dreams a reality. They can answer questions about financial aide, career counseling, application assistance and all other educational support. 2/22 will be at the REC inside Lincoln Homes and 2/23 will be at Summit Heights in the Community Room. Both days start at 10am and end at 11:30.
